About Me

First and foremost, I value truth and transparency in my reporting. I appreciate journalistic endeavors that act as a tool for systemic advocacy.

My mother is a first-generation Vietnamese immigrant who has taught me to understand my privileges and use them for good. I aspire to uplift marginalized voices and report their stories holistically.

Alongside my colleagues, I started the Society of Professional Journalists chapter at CU Boulder and currently serve as the Vice President. Outside of being a student, I'm also a Student Ambassador for the Office of Admissions (I give campus tours, ha!), and enjoy traveling, bread baking, reading ethnographies, and spending time with family and friends.

“It's been my experience that you can nearly always enjoy things if you make up your mind firmly that you will.”
