CU Boulder professor partners with Arapaho Natives to document and revitalize the language
Noobései Nííbei (Southern Singing Woman), a retired teacher from Oklahoma, practices the Arapaho language in the car. As she drives down a road, she tries to name off things she sees on the way. It took her months to learn the word ‘semi-truck.’
