About Me
First and foremost, I value truth and transparency in my reporting. I admire journalistic endeavors that act as a tool for advocacy.
My mother is a first-generation Vietnamese immigrant who has taught me to understand my privileges and use them for good. I aspire to uplift marginalized voices and report their stories holistically.
Alongside my colleagues, I started the Society of Professional Journalists chapter at CU Boulder and served as Programming Chair and Vice President. I was a 2026 national fellow with Arizona State University's News21 initiative.
Outside of being a student, I'm a news editor writer for the CU Independent and editor in chief for Mountain Time Magazine. I'm also a Student Ambassador for the Office of Admissions (I give campus tours, ha!). I enjoy traveling, crocheting, antique browsing and spending time with family and friends.
